Our Mission

We are a Center for Spiritual Evolution.  We teach and study how to use the practical mental and spiritual principles of Science of Mind to create lives of happiness, health, wealth, and abundance.  All are welcome in our community of celebration, friendship, worship, and learning.

Science of Mind is a practical way of thinking about the nature of the universe and your relationship to it.  Its purpose is to awaken you to your eternal connection with the Universal All-Originating Spirit, God, and thereby enable you, by using your Divine power of Creative Thought, to shape your life into one of joy and abundance.  Our mission is to lovingly support each individual's awakening to this Divine Presence! 

McHenry County Church of Religious Science is affiliated with the Affiliated New Thought Network, an organization of independent Religious Science churches that support the teaching and study of Science of Mind around the world, and the Internatinal New Thought Alliance (INTA), an organization of New Thought Churches and Centers.   We are also affiliated with Emerson Theological Institute, which accredits spiritual and ministerial classes and related certification and degree programs.
